There were many people who were fortunate enough to know Padre Pio in person, one of them was Fr. James DeVita, SDB who was born and raised in San Giovanni Rotondo. He served as the altar server at Padre Pio’s Mass and made confession to Padre Pio. Making one’s confession to Padre Pio was of inestimable help in the spiritual life. God gave Padre Pio extraordinary gifts and graces for his priestly work as a confessor. Padre Pio made no distinction between venial and mortal sins. He spoke simply of sin. We will talk about this more at the 2nd session. At the first session the judicial symbols of the Holy Spirit will be unfold, have you heard about these symbols?
We hope to see on the next prayer meeting on Saturday, January 6th, 2018 at 09:30AM @ Church Basement.
