The annual 24-Hour Fast & Pray brings young adults together in solidarity with those who suffer from mental illness, homelessness, poverty, addiction, and other challenges. Participants offer their prayers and sacrifices for healing, world peace, personal intentions, and those ministered to through Catholic Street Missionaries.
The retreat includes Masses, Adoration, Confession, spiritual talks, group prayer, personal reflection, fellowship, and sharing. Participants may fast in a manner appropriate to their health and circumstances, whether through traditional fasting or other meaningful sacrifices.
This event also serves as a fundraiser for Catholic Street Missionaries' ongoing outreach to the poor and homeless. Participants are encouraged to invite sponsors and collect pledges to support this important ministry.
