Would you like to encounter Christ in the homeless? This one-day event is for young adults who feel called to serve Jesus in the poor. Catholic Street Missionaries facilitates this hands-on opportunity to join like-minded peers in reaching out with love, prayer, and hope to the homeless, addicted, and prostituted on the streets of Vancouver. Their mission, as stated online, is "To bring the Gospel message of God's love and hope to those on the fringes of society," focusing on the emotional and spiritual support that is often lacking.
