The goal of Bible Study is to help participants grow in their knowledge of God. The more we know God, the more we see His love for us, thereby bringing us to a closer relationship with Him.
Here, participants gain life-giving insights by exploring Sacred Scriptures’ historical and cultural context, biblical references in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the relevance of God’s word to our life today. Coming to the study also deepens our appreciation of the Catholic faith and provides a chance to fellowship with others by sharing life experiences and personal views in a supportive environment.
In general, session format is: a talk or teaching is presented on video, and a group discussion precedes or follows the presentation using the prescribed study guide.
