Mass Coordinators assist the priest in ensuring that the Liturgy of the Mass runs smoothly. The Mass Coordinator ensures that the liturgical ministry positions are filled. This includes finding last minute substitutes for absent ministers (Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Altar Servers and Ushers) as needed.
To become a Mass Coordinator, one must be active in his/her faith, has good interpersonal skills, and is welcoming and hospitable. The person should be decisive, proactive, reliable, and have a good understanding of Liturgical procedures.
