St. Mary’s Street Ministry is a group that strives to bring unconditional love and spiritual support to vulnerable women, the homeless, and the addicted in the Lower Mainland.
Volunteers go to downtown area to reach out to the homeless. They also journey with those who have left the street or are in recovery (from addictions) by visiting them and helping them in their needs. Volunteers have to be non-judgmental and willing to serve Jesus in the marginalized - to be ‘lights in the dark’.
