Sunday, May 24, 2026 – Solemnity of Pentecost


Following his appointment as Archbishop of Vancouver, Archbishop Richard Smith spent time listening and dialoguing with the faithful. Many conversations highlighted both the great work being done and a strong desire for renewal. With the great Jubilee of 2033 on the horizon—marking two thousand years since the Redemption—we are invited into a moment of prayer and discernment as a local Church.

What will renewal look like?
Renewal will unfold in five key areas:

  • Parish Renewal

  • Priestly Life and Culture

  • Catholic Schools

  • Liturgical Renewal

  • Property and Infrastructure

How to participate:
All members of the Archdiocese are invited to participate. You are invited to commit to praying for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit as we listen, discern, and follow the voice of God.
