Catholic Street Missionaries Website
Catholic Street Missionaries (CSM) is a registered charity in British Columbia, founded on the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 3, 2016. Endorsed by the Archdiocese of Vancouver, we work under the spiritual guidance of Archbishop J. Michael Miller, CSB, who serves as our Spiritual Director.
Our mission is to develop young lay missionaries dedicated to reaching out to the margins of society, particularly the homeless, addicted, and vulnerable in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside and beyond.
Through outreach, spiritual support, and accompaniment, we bring Christ’s love to those in need, inspiring hope and transformation.

Our Mission
At Catholic Street Missionaries, we bring hope and healing through two primary pillars of service:
🌆Homeless Outreach
We reach out to the homeless in the Downtown Eastside and downtown business districts, building relationships through compassion and care.
❤️Support and Accompaniment
We journey with those seeking freedom from addiction and life on the streets. By introducing them to Jesus Christ, we help them build a personal relationship with God.
We offer retreats, spiritual direction, healing prayer, and other activities to support their spiritual growth.
Through our work, we are committed to transforming lives by spreading Christ’s love and empowering others to join this mission of mercy.
